ABVK was established, as B J Sexton & Co, in the early 1990s and right from the start we’ve seen ourselves as our clients’ business partners. We’re not the kind of practice that sees accountancy as a mixture of numbers, compliance and statutory submissions. Vicky
Kong
Vicky has extensive experience in dealing with both small companies and subsidiaries of International groups. She joined us in 2005, training for her ACCA qualifications and qualifying in 2007. Vicky has been the firm’s principal since 2012, and is proactive in her approach to individual entrepreneurs, directors and business owners, going the extra mile to make a difference.
Barry
Sexton
Barry grew up in Ireland, and is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland. He returned to England in 1985 and opened his own practice in 1991: that firm is now ABVK, for which Barry works as a consultant. With extensive experience in tax issues, including offshore tax planning, he provides comprehensive advice on a wide range of complex business issues, including company restructuring. Having been in public practice for over 25 years in the UK, Barry has provided advisory services to a wide range of businesses, dealing with the complicated business matters.
Nataliya
Lutsyshyna
Nataliya has a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance in her native Ukraine, where she worked as a tax officer dealing with small private companies before coming into the UK. Nataliya holds the AAT Diploma in Accounting, and joined the practice in 2015. She has exceptional communication skills, wide experience in customer service, and has shown herself to be flexible and analytical with a keen eye for detail.
Ildiko
Kissne-Torok
Ildiko worked on the client side for various organisations while studying for her degree and, more recently, for her AAT Level 4 qualification. She is a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, seeking always to exceed client expectations. Since joining us in 2017, Ildiko has integrated quickly into our practice as an enthusiastic team member. She has also shown herself to be adept at presenting complex information in a way that enables effective and efficient decision-making by clients and colleagues.
Close to our customers
Our office is in Waltham Abbey M25 Business Centre, a modern and high-end building, located on the Essex, Hertfordshire and London Border. With excellent road and rail Links and a short train journey into the city centre. This makes us ideally situated for regular communication with our customer base in East/North London and Essex. This is important for us, because it means we can visit your premises, or you visit ours, whenever necessary.
Specialist expertise and experience
We work almost exclusively with individual entrepreneurs and small businesses. We don’t limit ourselves to any particular sector, but we have specific expertise in property, building and construction, working with service companies and freelance contractors. In addition, we work extensively in the entertainment and media sectors, with service providers and performers.
